Enjoy local berry wines!

Mikkeli has three wine farms that prepare wines, liqueurs and ciders from Finnish fruits, berries and currants. Visitors can also watch how the wines are produced, taste samples and purchase bottles to bring home and share with family and friends.

Ollinmäki Winery is situated in Anttola, approximately 18 kilometres from the centre of Mikkeli. Sirpa and Jukka Villanen have been making berry and fruit wines since 1995. The farm combines Finnish ingredients with Central European wine-making skills and a healthy dose of the Finnish pioneering spirit. Ollinmäki Winery is open year round.

Temola Winery is situated on the beautiful island of Niinisaari in Puumala. The farm produces high-quality, prize-winning wines from black, red and white currants, sparkling wines from raspberries and red currants, and genuine apple cider. Visitors can enjoy these as well as strawberry, raspberry and black currant liqueurs in the 35-place wine tavern or on the garden terrace.

Tyry Winery is situated in Mäntyharju. In addition to its berry wines, the shop sells special products such as moonshine-mustard and wine jams.
